Pesto & Gouda Grilled Cheese

Gooey Gouda, nutty basil pesto, sandwiched between two fresh pieces of fresh sourdough bread.
  • 2 slices of fresh bread (preferably sourdough)
  • 2-3 tbsp pesto
  • 4-5 slices gouda
  • Butter
  1. Spread a generous amount of pesto on each slide of bread.
  2. Place enough cheese to cover bread (more the merrier!).
  3. Form sandwich.
  4. Butter the top and bottom.
  5. Place in a cold pan, turn pan to medium heat, cooking until golden brown on each side.
